A Good Place To Worship

I took an unscripted road trip several weeks ago and found myself on backroads through farm country. This pretty little church was on the main drag in Jamestown, Ohio.

Doesn’t it look like a good place to worship?

McArthur Presbyterian Church

I often walk by this pretty little church on my lunch break. It was so nice against the sunny blue sky this week that I stopped and snapped a picture.

It’s just as lovely inside as it is out but I’m not sure I have pictures. Maybe somewhere…..

They do still have services but I think they share a lay speaker with another gorgeous church around the corner and they alternate locations each Sunday.

Check out the sidewalk!

Out for a walk? Don’t forget to look around!

Amesville Presbyterian Church

IMG_6853.JPGOld churches, cemeteries and barns are my favorite places to find on my journeys. I never tire of reading headstones in old cemeteries or of admiring stained glass in otherwise simple churches.

Just a block or two off Rt. 550 in Amesville, Ohio you’ll find this pretty little Presbyterian Church. I love every part of it – the steeple, those lights, the windows – it’s all lovely.
