Look how pretty the clouds were yesterday! If you’re a frequent flyer on my blog, you know how much I love barns, old churches and other great old buildings. This one is no exception.
Blue skies and puffy white clouds make the perfect backdrop for weathered barn siding so I had to pull over for a few seconds to grab this photo with my phone.
Is there something you always look for in your travels? Tell me in the comments!
That’s a cute barn. My barn looks similar and it tilts . It badly needs a paint job. I like round barns. They are rare, but I’ve seen a few..
We have a few round barns in the region and an octagon barn too. Thought I would try to grab some pictures of the octagon barn after it greens up some this spring. I’ll be sure to share them here!
Great barn image. I, too, like barns….old churches (take a trip to England/Scotland/Wales for some really outstanding photo ops. ) I have a bunch of barn/old building images on my hard drive but never did anything with them in PS. Maybe it’s time.

Yes! Go through them and do something with them! Someday. Someday I will make it to England, Scotland and Whales. 🙂
I also like unusual buildings. I still regret not stopping to photograph a unique round barn in eastern Washington.
Sounds like an excuse to go back! 😉
Funny, but I hadn’t read the other comments before I made mine. Then I saw others also mentioned round barns, too. Maybe not so unique after all! Actually, I may be going back this summer.
They are unique but not unheard of so I always get excited at the sight of one!
